Steps on how to backup Aol messages:
Open Aol application.
Click the dropdown in the upper-left and go to Export Mail option. Select Email messages.
Select Aol. Click on Next option.
Select a folder to store the export messages. Click on Browse option.
Make a new folder or select an existing one.
Click on Next option.
