I saw a licence problems in images file
calendar.html calendar1.js I added ASL2 header but did not commit my changes because I wonder if there is no pb with the previous headers. BTW I thought about gif files : are we entitled to use such files (copyrighted AOL isn'it ?) Thanks Jacques |

Unisys, I think it was, had a *patent* on the format. However, that recently expired, so I think they're fine. -- David N. Welton - http://www.dedasys.com/davidw/ Linux, Open Source Consulting - http://www.dedasys.com/ |

Hi Jacques,
no please, do not add the ASL2.0 header to these files because they are under a different license: in fact we have mentioned it in the drafts of the LICENSE and NOTICE files. Jacopo,
Now I wonder if there is not something like that to do for pngbehavior.htc please see : http://webfx.eae.net/license.html : Notice that the PNG Behavior does not require any license. You may use it in any way you see fit as long as credit is given where credit is due. In other words, don't claim you create it and don't try to make money directly from it. Thanks Jacques > Hi Jacques, > > no please, do not add the ASL2.0 header to these files because they are > under a different license: in fact we have mentioned it in the drafts of > the LICENSE and NOTICE files. > > Jacopo > > Jacques Le Roux wrote: > > I saw a licence problems in images file > > calendar.html > > calendar1.js > > I added ASL2 header but did not commit my changes because I wonder if there is no pb with the previous headers. > > > > BTW I thought about gif files : are we entitled to use such files (copyrighted AOL isn'it ?) > > > > Thanks > > > > Jacques > > |
Thanks Jacques,
in rev. 464437 I've added a Notice for this file, even if I'll really need help to understand how the NOTICE file should be assembled.
