Hi All,
Is anyone use the BarCode input or print equipment work with OFBIZ ? if so, can you tell me what's equipment you are working and how to connect with Ofbiz? Thank you! Weizhan Guo |
Weizhan,
We use a generic barcode scanner with OFBiz routinely. Since it is just an input device, it quite happily works wherever text input is required (for example, in order manager screens, catalog manager screens and so on). We also use the scanner in the POS application. Generally that works well - 99% of the time. Occasionally it has trouble scanning. We usually put that down to dust on the scanner, but it might have something to do with the way POS handles the input, but I haven't had chance to investigate further. BTW, we use the scanner in both Windows and Linux environments, and generally have no trouble.
