Ant build failures due to interdependent modules

I ran "ant clean" and tried to rebuild but it failed due to changes I
made to the order and manufacturing modules making them interdependent.  
Both modules throw "cannot find symbol" errors. Would someone please
advise on how to resolve interdependency problems like this?

Which code base you are using here? Are you on trunk or either of the
release branch 11.04, 12.04 or 13.07? Instead of "ant clean" try this
"./ant clean" and then "./ant"

May I know your ant version?
