Apachecon EU 2016

Sharan-F
Hi Everyone

Following on from the excitement of Apachecon NA in Vancouver earlier this month, we are now looking forward to Apachecon EU.

Apachecon EU will be held in Seville, Spain and from 16th- 8th November 2016. Details can be found on the Linux Foundation website.

http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/apachecon-europe

In preparation for it, we'd like to start trying to put together an OFBiz track across a range of categories. If you are interested in presenting (or just talking about something really exciting that you are working on) at Apachecon EU then please complete the details in the table on the wiki so that we can track the potential and actual submissions.

You can submit your presentation for Apachecon EU at the following link.

A few things to remember ....

1. - You only need to submit a summary paragraph of what your presentation will cover for now (Not sure what to write? Some examples can be found here   https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/OFBiz+Track+@+Apachecon+Core+EU+2015+Budapest). The deadline for submissions is 9th September 2016.

2. -  You only need to complete the full presentation if your presentation gets selected. (According to the timetable, people should be notified  by 26th September 2106 if their presentation has been selected.)

3.  - If your presentation gets selected then you get free admission to Apachecon.

4. - If you want to attend or present at Apachecon but have problems with funding then you can also apply for funding from Apache's Travel Assistance Committee (TAC)  to cover the cost of travel, accommodation and food if necessary.

Finally Apachecon is a great place to meetup with others from the community as well as other ASF projects. I've been to 3 Apachecon's so far and I'd definitely recommend it.

Thanks
Sharan
