BigFish Gift Card Query

Hello,

I've query in using "BigFish" and OFBiz for the eCommerce site
implementation. But I don't see any information that BigFish do support for
the Gift card and its possible functionality like GC purchase, GC balance
enquiry, GC reload, GC unload etc.. I can't see any functionality of GC
reload nor documentation.

If it's support all these functionality then its worth and happily use
BigFish & OFBiz. Could you please help on these?

Prateek,

Yes, BigFish does support Gift Cards but you will need to first set up
an account with a third party Gift Card processor.  BigFish currently
has support for Tender Card.  We would need to extend BigFish in order
to offer support for any other Gift Card service.

using BigFish.

Hi Nick,

Thanks.  It seems something which is developed as wrapper by BigFish and GC
reload functionality not present in current setup of OFBiz. Right?

Prateek,

If I'm understanding you correctly then: yes, BigFish is a wrapper to an
external Gift Card service. Currently we support TenderCard in terms of
allowing customers to look-up their balance and apply all or partial
redemption against the purchase.

Gift card reload functionality is supported in OFBiz. Check implementation
of giftCertificateReload service in GiftCertificateServices.java

I've seen that code implementation in OFBiz, but could you please let me
know how we can trigger this from OFBiz Admin end? Steps to perform this
would be great.
