Re: Blog and Forum

Adrian Crum-3
I reused the existing eCommerce forum artifacts to create a stand-alone
corporate forum application. It was fairly simple, I just improved some
of the screens and the relationship of content records.

Re: Blog and Forum

In reply to this post by Adrian Crum-3
thanks what I am looking for is putting the forms files in the content.
I have a component called PublicFace that allows current html websites
to be integrated into ofbiz.
so to add the forum and Blog, use the content component.
I am expanding the forum and Blogs to have more functionality, like
moderation, not logging spiders as reads of the posts.

You may use HTTPD to filter boots/spiders/crawlers, but I guess you certainly know that.

This message is just a pretext to put a lint to this article

We have not yet Tomcat 7 in OFBiz but I guess it's still interesting (thanks to a previous Sam Hamilton's tweet)

Re: Blog and Forum

BJ Freeman
Yes, thanks
I am using a PartyID group to put in the Bots/spiders/crawlers in as
contactmechs.
Using ECA on Visits
and integrated the Blacklist also
