Hi all,
fyi, my latest blog post has been published in HotWax Media's blog about OFBiz: http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/apache-ofbiz-blog/ofbiz-tutorial-order-entry-and-ship-groups/ it is a simple tutorial about how to place a sales order containing multiple ship groups, an interesting but somewhat hidden feature of OFBiz. I hope you will find it useful; and in general, I'd suggest to keep an eye on our blog because we often publish articles and tutorials about OFBiz: http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/apache-ofbiz-blog/ Kind regards, Jacopo |
Thanks Jacopo, this is great.

How about a ofbiz wiki page that pulls these all together
People that document on their sites can put links. ========================= BJ Freeman http://bjfreeman.elance.com Strategic Power Office with Supplier Automation <http://www.businessesnetwork.com/automation/viewforum.php?f=93> Specialtymarket.com <http://www.specialtymarket.com/> Systems Integrator-- Glad to Assist Chat Y! messenger: bjfr33man <http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=1237480&locale=en_US&trk=tab_pro> Anil Patel sent the following on 4/23/2010 8:05 PM: > BJ, > Interesting response :) > > Thanks and Regards > Anil Patel > HotWax Media Inc > Find us on the web at www.hotwaxmedia.com or Google Keyword "ofbiz" > > On Apr 23, 2010, at 10:15 PM, BJ Freeman wrote: > >> so we are starting a policy of documenting else where besides the ofbiz >> wiki? >> >> >> ========================= >> BJ Freeman >> http://bjfreeman.elance.com >> Strategic Power Office with Supplier Automation <http://www.businessesnetwork.com/automation/viewforum.php?f=93> >> Specialtymarket.com <http://www.specialtymarket.com/> >> >> Systems Integrator-- Glad to Assist >> >> Chat Y! messenger: bjfr33man >> <http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=1237480&locale=en_US&trk=tab_pro> >> >> >> Anil Patel sent the following on 4/23/2010 6:57 PM: >>> Oops, link does not looks good, This is better >>> >>> http://bit.ly/ofbiz-tutorial-ship-group >>> >>> >>> Thanks and Regards >>> Anil Patel >>> HotWax Media Inc >>> Find us on the web at www.hotwaxmedia.com or Google Keyword "ofbiz" >>> >>> On Apr 23, 2010, at 9:56 PM, Anil Patel wrote: >>> >>>> Here is next in series >>>> >>>> http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/apache-ofbiz-blog/ofbiz-tutorial-–-how-to-fulfill-a-sales-order-that-has-more-then-one-ship-group/ >>>> >>>> >>>> Thanks and Regards >>>> Anil Patel >>>> HotWax Media Inc >>>> Find us on the web at www.hotwaxmedia.com or Google Keyword "ofbiz" >>>> >>>> On Apr 19, 2010, at 11:56 AM, Jacopo Cappellato wrote: >>>> >>>>> Hi all, >>>>> >>>>> fyi, my latest blog post has been published in HotWax Media's blog about OFBiz: >>>>> >>>>> http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/apache-ofbiz-blog/ofbiz-tutorial-order-entry-and-ship-groups/ >>>>> >>>>> it is a simple tutorial about how to place a sales order containing multiple ship groups, an interesting but somewhat hidden feature of OFBiz. >>>>> I hope you will find it useful; and in general, I'd suggest to keep an eye on our blog because we often publish articles and tutorials about OFBiz: >>>>> >>>>> http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/apache-ofbiz-blog/ >>>>> >>>>> Kind regards, >>>>> >>>>> Jacopo >>>>> >>> >> > > |
Yes, this has been discussed (setting up a page collecting links to Wiki posts about OFBiz) and could be a good idea.
However I think that sending messages like this to the user list is also a good way to inform that a company (like Hotwax Media) is making available a new resource that could be useful to some users. Do we agree on this? Yes, that sounds correct to me, an annonce and then a link for "archive"
