Ha, we have also now snapshots for 11.04 and 12.04 see http://ci.apache.org/projects/ofbiz/snapshots/
BTW just curious, have we any mentions of this at http://ofbiz.apache.org/ and if not is it intended? This is nice. Thanks Jacques.
Indeed, this would be nice to put it on the website page. Thank you, Jacques.
We should actually update the page: http://ci.apache.org/projects/ofbiz/snapshots/ at least by removing the right side column (instructions there are not valid for all the snapshots and in general snapshot users should already know what they are doing or should rely on the README file) and by removing all the top bar links that are broken. Hi Jacopo,
Yes I thought about the use instructions inconsistency, but was lazy on that because I did not remember where the files were. I will change that ASAP, if nobody beats me on it (in other words, committers feel free to help ;) , files are at https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/infrastructure/buildbot/aegis/buildmaster/master1/public_html/projects/ofbiz Jacques From: "Jacopo Cappellato" <[hidden email]> > Thank you, Jacques. > We should actually update the page: > > http://ci.apache.org/projects/ofbiz/snapshots/ > > at least by removing the right side column (instructions there are not valid for all the snapshots and in general snapshot users should already know what they are doing or should rely on the README file) and by removing all the top bar links that are broken. > > Jacopo > > > On Nov 9, 2012, at 4:57 PM, Jacques Le Roux wrote: > >> I just added a link from the download page, I think it's enough... >> >> Jacques >> >> From: "Erwan de FERRIERES" <[hidden email]> >>> This is nice. Hi Jacques,
I have updated the files now and committed to that svn a few days ago; however I don't see it reflected in http://ci.apache.org/projects/ofbiz/snapshots/ Apart from committing the files, is there anything else I need to do in order to deploy them? Hi Jacopo,
Last time you committed you got a port 1099 race condition. http://ci.apache.org/builders/ofbiz-branch10/builds/50/steps/compile_1/logs/stdio Now (not sure why, but Gavin confirmed) we need to use different ports to build on buldbot simultaneously. https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-4794 and maybe https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-4763 are waiting for that In the meantime, I use IRC to force builds when they fail. I just did it. Mmm, anyway, when I think about it, I don't think this will be enough to update your changes. We will then have to ask infra (better to ask Gavin since he is aware, others are sometimes a lost of time...) Hi Jacques,
the port race condition issue is a separate one and I don't think it is related; in fact I see a new zip file created after my changes to the html templates but the old templates are still used. Should I create a ticket in Jira to ask how to deploy the modifications? Hi Jacques,
if I am not wrong I had to create a Jira ticket and the Infra team did the deployment. Jacques,
in rev. 878772 I have updated the html templates here: https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/infrastructure/buildbot/aegis/buildmaster/master1/public_html/projects/ofbiz/ in order to reflect the work you are doing; I couldn't test them but they should work fine. However in order to deploy them we will have to file a Jira ticket for the Infra. Hi Jacopo,
OK, I will open a Jira for that.
