Buildno in screens

Pierre Smits
Is it possible to include the Release No or Buil no somewhere in the screens
of OFBiz.

This would improve bug fixing and/or feature finding very much.

Re: Buildno in screens

Pierre Smits
In the footer would be as good a place as any. But something in the line of
the about screen of sugarcrm would be even better. It could then acknowlegde
the contributors as well and show copyright details of components (if
applicable).

1. svnversion gives you the version you are using http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.1/re57.html
2. Putting revision number in the footer has been discussed in the past
    2.1 http://www.nabble.com/Mention-of-version---in-release-td13078575.html
    2.2 http://www.nabble.com/Could-not-create-a-Shopping-list-tt15869031.html#a15912317

Pierre,
in https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-1700
you will find a patch I submitted to have the ant build sun the svn info
command for you and have the information put in a file that colud be linked
to the OFBiz UI.
May be you can use some of this.
