Can't enter state/province for first customer

dimonic
After configuring and starting system (which took me all weekend) and
entering successfully main company, I cannot add an employee (or customer or
any other party) because the state/country field is empty regardless of
country selected.

This looks like a regression on OFBIZ-6054.

I am stuck. Is there a work-around or do I need to re-install with all the
demo data?

Re: Can't enter state/province for first customer

I thought I had subscribed to the *user mailing list* (note the lack of
abbreviations in my typing - you used them with a new user who might not
have been able to figure out what you were talking about).

I signed up for something. I responded to the e-mail sent to me that should
authorise me. I then completed my attempt to post something (which you
moderated by and replied to).

Your response takes me to a page, which then pops up a blank email to
someone, with no instructions for what I might have to type in.

It may well be that I just need to click reply - but that is by no means
apparent. So I am back here replying inline, and you will have to moderate
again.

This is all not very promising for a key piece of software that I would
expect to run my business on - and I am trying to resolve what looks like a
blocking bug!

I am offering (in another email you would see) to do documentation work.
This is obviously something this project needs. Kindly do not expend effort
trying to keep me away.

We think the link http://ofbiz.apache.org/mailing-lists.htmlis clear enough, did you read it? If yes what do we miss?

You are now subscribed, I did it for you

As you can see the Nabble forum is not the best place to ask questions and get answers.
I mean can you see your message there? Err no, as long as you don't subscribe to OFBiz MLs!

So, please rather use your email client. You will get a better support and it's more fair to share with everybody

The wider the audience the better the answers you might get

Thanks

Jacques
