Hi,
I found that CompDoc is supposed to be used for tracking revisions history and to be able to Approve the content which is awaiting approval. However, I could not find an example of the actual usage. I created a simple content which status default is set to "In-Progress". Then, basically I would expect this content to appear in the awaiting approval listing. But it is not shown there. I tried to change status to "Initial Draft" from "In-Progress" but it also did not bring this content into listing where I could approve it. What I would want in the end result is such behaviour: some content is created with initial status - "In-Progress" is fine with me. Then, an authorative person ( I believe the one with role CONTENT_EDITOR or CONTENT_ADMIN) would go to the listing of such content and after reviwieng it, could approve. That would trigger the status change to Available or Published. Any thoughts are appreciated as always. Thanks. |
Did anyone used the Content Approval Services in ofbiz? I am trying to follow controller.xml requests as there are now ""Add new" buttons etc. but the forms give errors and getting nowhere. I suppose it is incomplete? Please, respond if anyone has used it. Thanks.
I am running the version from the first decade of December 2008.

Michael,
I coded much of the Content Approval Services code a long time ago. I hesitated to respond, because I cannot remember any of it and am very short on time. If you have some specific questions, I will try to answer them. As I remember, the project on which this code was used was not completed, so the code could still be incomplete, though I know we got it to a fairly complete state. -Al On Mon, Mar 23, 2009 at 10:59 AM, masionas <[hidden email]>wrote: > > Did anyone used the Content Approval Services in ofbiz?
