Hello Harry,

I have not implemented a payroll but created payroll invoices (available in
OOTB) for all payroll components (assuming that payroll handled by other
tools) to handle accounting transactions for payroll. There is an option to
create a Payroll (in New Purchase Invoice section here
<https://demo-trunk.ofbiz.apache.org/accounting/control/newInvoice>)
invoice with specific payroll date and due date where each payroll invoice
item represents a payroll component.
