Creating sales order with Configurable Product

Piyush Dubey
Hi,

When I am creating a sales order with the configurable product it is being
created in backorder. Can you suggest why configuration run is not
performed?

Thanks

Hi Piyush,

Regarding your question,
As you are doing configuration at runtime and if inventory is available for
the selected configuration then it will reserve it else order will be
created as backorder and one production run will be created for the order.

Thanks & Regards
