DNS for version 10.04 on demo server

Christian Geisert
Hi,

currently we have 'demo-trunk.ofbiz.apache.org' which points to latest
trunk demo and 'demo-stable.ofbiz.apache.org' points to branch 9.04

And now that I got 10.04 running, how should the domain names look like
- 'demo-stable' for 10.04 and 'demo-904' for 9.04?

Why are we even bothering to demo 9.04 if there is a newer version available?

Pros:
1. I think we have enough of ressources to let it run
2. It's convenient for users who still use R9.04
3. It's convenient for committers who want to maintain R9.04

Cons:
If it slow the other demo or any issues of course we can replace R9.04 by R10.04

Thanks

Jacques

For now it runs fine, of course still w/out accesses from outside. We will see about resources when there will be more activity. But
I think it should handle it fine.

Infra says: "please suggest a hostname that doesn't embed a version
number, thanks"

Makes sens, what about 'demo-old'? Any other ideas?

Makes sense indeed, 'demo-old' is ok with me.
Then we should change/add  links from the main page and it should be enough I guess (the less places the better)
