These are know as external payments.
so the order is put on hold till the payment is received. Hold means not more processing of the order. https://demo.ofbiz.org/ordermgr/control/orderview?orderId=DEMO10090 is how you view an order you would go to the payment section and make a payment when Money order/check was cleared to your satisfaction. this would then put the order in Approved status so it could be processed for shipping. not sure the process for COD since I don't use it. info vs sent the following on 7/24/2009 10:36 PM: > Thanks BJ Freeman > What is put on hold means? > Is there any more documentation on COD? > > > Thanks in advance > > > On Fri, Jul 24, 2009 at 8:06 PM, BJ Freeman <[hidden email]> wrote: > >> each is a different payment type. >> all are put on hold unless you running the POS component. >> COD is not used in POS. >> >> >> >> info vs sent the following on 7/24/2009 6:38 AM: >>> Hi, >>> >>> I wanted to know >>> Difference between Mail Check/Money Order and COD(Cash on Delivery) in >> the >>> payment methods . >>> How it will affects Accounting and Order Transaction. >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> Thank you in advance >>> Infovs >>> >> -- >> BJ Freeman >> http://www.businessesnetwork.com/automation >> http://bjfreeman.elance.com >> >> http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=1237480&locale=en_US&trk=tab_pro >> Systems Integrator. >> >> > -- BJ Freeman http://www.businessesnetwork.com/automation http://bjfreeman.elance.com http://www.linkedin.com/profile?viewProfile=&key=1237480&locale=en_US&trk=tab_pro Systems Integrator. |
