The current demo data sets up a single company with a handful of internal organizations that could be considered departments (DemoOrganizationData.xml). I would like to expand this demo data to make it more enterprise-like.
The organization would look like: Company Divison A Accounting Department Employees Suppliers Etc Sales Department Employees Suppliers Etc Division B Branch 1 Accounting Department Employees Suppliers Etc Sales Department Employees Suppliers Etc Branch 2 Accounting Department Employees Suppliers Etc Sales Department Employees Suppliers Etc What do you think? -Adrian |
Hello Adrian,
The hierarchy looks good to me. This data enhancement will help a lot with testing Accounting module

For now I will just create the party hierarchy. I don't know that I will
have time to set up separate accounting. -Adrian Anil Patel wrote: > This data enhancement will help a lot with testing Accounting module > reports and gl postings where each division has their own books. > > Adrian, thanks for your help with this. > > Regards > Anil Patel > > On Aug 24, 2009, at 2:13 PM, Jacques Le Roux wrote: > >> +1 >> >> Jacques >> >> From: "Adrian Crum" <[hidden email]> >>> The organization data would be in DemoOrganizationData.xml. >>> -Adrian >>> --- On Sun, 8/23/09, Ashish Vijaywargiya >>> <[hidden email]> wrote: >>>> From: Ashish Vijaywargiya <[hidden email]> >>>> Subject: Re: Discussion: Expanded Party Demo Data >>>> To: [hidden email] >>>> Date: Sunday, August 23, 2009, 9:57 PM >>>> Hello Adrian, >>>> The hierarchy looks good to me.
