Solution 1: Suppress the QuickBooks Desktop application
Method A: Suppress the Desktop while you start the QuickBooks
Suppressing QuickBooks Desktop will force QuickBooks to start without the company file. This will help you avoid unrecoverable error that  occurs because of the corruption in the company file.

As you hold the Ctrl key, double-click on QuickBooks Program icon on the Windows Desktop.
The Ctrl key must be held, till No Company Open windows appears.
Method B: Suppress the Desktop as you open a Company File
When the No Company Open window shows up, choose the required company file.
As you long hold the Alt key, select Open.
In case you are asked for login credentials, let go the Alt key and perform as required.
Select OK, but press and hold the Alt key. Alt key is to be held till the desired company file opens up completely.
