All,
I'm having problems getting email working. I have two approaches. 1. using localhost (sendmail) in general.properties. 2. using google hosted apps (email) setting up smtp in general.properties (sing both 587 and 465) It just doesn't work! my simple test is to try and email my password to me from the main login page. No error seems to get thrown it just says there is configuration issue. I use Amazon EC2 and i believe i had email working at one point. I've checked security groups and opened up the relevant ports. Your assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
We have several ofbiz systems working on amazon ec2.
Make sure you have a mailserver installed like 'postfix' ? Regards, Hans On Sun, 2011-02-13 at 14:42 -0800, Tolu Williams wrote: > All, > > I'm having problems getting email working. Nice! I'll try it very soon. Do you use elastic beanstalk? Sent from my iPhone

No, we do not use beanstalk, On the other hand you can use our public
available AMI. Search on 'ofbiz' where everything is installed properly. we also have a blog on the subject: http://www.antwebsystems.com/control/ViewBlogArticle?contentId=18081&blogContentId=AWS_BLOG Regards, Hans On Sun, 2011-02-13 at 17:36 -0800, Tolu Williams wrote: > Nice!
