Dear members,
Please look into the following use case for implementation of Hosted Order
Payment Page in eCommerce One page checkout and suggest if it can be
achieved with the following given approach:
Use Case : To present a Hosted Order Payment Page(HPP) for an e-Commerce
one page checkout where the Customer's Credit card details would not be
saved in the DB.
To achieve the above following changes would be required-
Store configuration flag for Hosted payment page OR On page payment
(Entity modification).
To show/hide CC form as per store HPP configuration(UI Modification) in
one page checkout.
If HPP then skip Credit card details to be stored in DB with billing
address details (service modifications).
On submit Hosted Order Payment Page will be displayed and order status
will be updated as per gateway response(this would work as it is).
Please suggest if there is any alternate way to implement this. And if the
above approach is recommended then I would create a Jira issue for its
implementation .
