Experience in implementation time

chokdee
Hi all

our company want to migrate a proprietary written software to ofbiz.
Now we want to know to how much time it will spent for this.

Has anyone experience with this kind of implementation?
Or is there a list of users who do that?

Please write the environment and modules you use.

Thanks in advance

without a list of what you are going to migrate it is hard to estimate.

1)can you connect the old system database to ofbiz?
2)how many tables of data need to be mapped to ofbiz
3)what if any functionality needs to be added to ofbiz that is not there
 now
4)what are the manpower resources in your IT department to work on this.

based on the above the time could be a  man month to 6 man months.

Note: man months differ from Linear months in that man months are the
work effort that may span a lot more linear months if the effort is not
continuous.
on the home page is a list of providers
