Extra details on Header section relevant to Projectmgr

Anyone observing the extra details circled in the header section in the
image link shown below?

I am using "Flat Grey" theme on current trunk revision 787185.

Is it right place to put such contents?
Have you put it for sometime or will this be permanent content in flat grey
theme?

I am fine if others don not see any issue in it.
To me it looks little awkward in the header.

+1, I would prefer to see something simple like "2 new alerts" as a  
link that the user can click on to go to their "alert inbox" to see  
more details.
