[FYI] Demos are on a new server

Hi,

Just for your information, for budget reason the ASF has decided to change of VM provider. We now use Amazon.

Though it took 2 weeks to coordinate with ASF Infra team, we switched today and all is functioning as before.

We have just a small issue with old big files (videos) at https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/Framework+Introduction+Videos+and+Diagrams.

For more information please refer to INFRA-18506

Enjoy

Jacques

We have them on Vimeo and YouTube. I guess we can drop them in big-files and forget it.

What do people think?

Rather we should keep them in the VM as a secured version and will simply update the wiki page by removing the <<OFBiz Framework Introduction Videos
(sponsored by HotWax Systems)>> section
<http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/>

I'll do so

Finally it seems that we don't need to change anything (apart that I put HTTPS now on), it got fixed by Daniel Gruno :)

Hi Jacques,

I think as Youtube and Vimeo are banned in China[1], we can think of some
other alternatives[2] specific to china as well if required.

1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Websites_blocked_in_mainland_China
2. https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-best-Chinese-YouTube-alternative

Thanks and regards,

Thanks Aditya,

Indeed did not think about that. Anyway we have the videos on "our" server too (Amazon actually).

So there is already a safe alternative.
