Hi,
French users, I need your help!

While "internationalizing" I had a problem: the French government is asking the companies using ERP software to produce system documentation, help, data, source code and so on, following the law "13 L-1-06 N° 12  -  24/JAN/2006"        

Do you know anything about? Do you know if OfBiz is going to ask the AFAQ/AFNOR certification? Or if OfBiz is already ok with all the legal requirements defined by the French gov?

Hi,

About documentation and other documents required by this law, there is no
requirements (in my knowledge) about content of this documents.

About AFAQ/AFNOR certification, it exists 2 kind of problems :
- we have to pay 429€ to obtain certification requirements and I don't know
costs about certification validation
- I don't know companies having use OFBiz accounting component in live in
french environment (not the same for other accounting products based on
OFBiz)

In fact, accounting software doesn't require to be certified by AFAQ/AFNOR,
they just need to be validated by a french accounting statutory auditor.
