Freemarker content type is removing javascript

I noticed that when I define a content and dataresource asociated in order to display in page (i.e a maketing spot). It is filtering all javascript code when displaying in page. I think this is on purpose and I like to know if there is a setting that I can chane in order to allow javascript code to be rendered
