HR module and Payroll

aswath narayana
Hello,
The HR module capture employee information and salary data and other data.
However, the payroll is not available in OFBiz. The payroll is dependent on
the geography.
What design and architectures one can use to implement payroll.  From my
basic research on payroll, it involves many many rules and regulations.
My Initial research indicated that a rules engine (JBOSS rules) could help
in this case.  Can we use OFBiz SECA here?
Any ideas?

Regards

have you looked at the Accounting component?
if you integrated JBOSS Please Open a Jira and submit a Patch.
I would think that the rules could be like those implemented in the
pricing rules for products.
The other model is like pricing that has a selectable service attached
to it.
SECA would be used to decide the flow.
Take a look at the data Model Vol one Fig 9.9 pg 323
