Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to recover my old Facebook Messenger messages and it’s been a total nightmare. I thought it would be simple — just go into settings, request my data, and that would be it. But either I’m doing something wrong or the messages are just gone for good. Some of these convos go way back, and they mean a lot to me.
I came across this site,
gbyte, which mentions messenger recovery as one of their services. I’m curious if anyone here has tried them or knows if they’re legit. I’m a bit skeptical, but I’m also kinda desperate at this point.
If anyone’s gone through the process successfully, or even knows of a workaround that doesn’t involve downloading sketchy apps, I’d really appreciate the help. I know a lot of people are probably in the same boat.
