How deleting old productPrice, please Help!

Hello,

i have imported 140000 products with ( prices, images, inventory,...etc) in to the Database successfully, but after updating product-prices the old ones still showing under pricetab in the product admin page.
my question is: are there any way to delete the old product Prices befor or after updating them ?

Run the given below query:-

Delete from product_price where product_price_type_id='WhichPriceYouWantDelete' and from_date < 'LastPriceUpdatedDate';  

Same as given query,

Delete from product_price where product_price_type_id='LIST_PRICE' and from_date < '2011-01-11';

but, are there an other way to override the old product-price at the same time when importing the new ones?

1st, let me know, how you import product price, through any product price service or xml import?
