I would like to delete a User ID completely from the OFBiz system but I can only find notes about how to disable the User ID. How can I delete the ID from the system entirely.
Thank you, Robert Volke |
the disable is used to disable logins.

So in short, there is no way to delete a user id, only disable it? I'm not sure what you mean by the party comment ("a party is not deleted but a end date is set"), my current party situation is as follows:
We have an 'admin' party that currently has 6 admin User Login's in the User Name section of its profile (1 of which has "admin" as the user login). I would like to completely delete 2 of the 6 admin accounts as they were created for testing purposes and are no longer needed. I tried to disable the two admin accounts per your suggestion, and although their status is showing up as disabled when I'm logged in as a different administrator. The first time I try logging into party manager as the disabled administrator, the administrator is able to login successfully and the disabled flag is automatically removed. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated as I need to iron out this process before we move our site into production. An additional note, I just noticed that my admin party that has 6 users under it has a type of 'Person' and not 'Party Group'. Could this be part of my problem.
Thank you again for any help you can give., Robert Volke >>> "Robert Volke" <[hidden email]> 7/1/2008 3:18:04 PM >>> So in short, there is no way to delete a user id, only disable it?
