To manually import Windows Live Mail emails into Thunderbird, you can follow these steps:
Export Emails from Windows Live Mail:
a. Open Windows Live Mail on your computer.
b. Go to the "File" menu and select "Export" and then "Email Messages."
c. Choose "Microsoft Windows Live Mail" as the export format and click "Next."
d. Select the folders you want to export or choose "All folders" to export all emails.
e. Specify the destination folder where you want to save the exported emails and click "Finish." This will create an .eml file for each email.
Create a New Folder in Thunderbird:
a. Open Thunderbird on your computer.
b. Right-click on the desired email account in the folder pane and select "New Folder."
c. Provide a name for the new folder and click "Create."
Import Emails into Thunderbird:
a. In Thunderbird, navigate to the newly created folder where you want to import the Windows Live Mail emails.
b. Open the file explorer or file manager on your computer and locate the folder where you saved the exported .eml files from Windows Live Mail.
c. Select the .eml files you want to import and drag them into the Thunderbird folder you created. This will import the emails into Thunderbird.
Repeat the import process for each folder or set of emails you want to import from Windows Live Mail.
