In preparation for the new sailing season

jimilosert79
In preparation for the new sailing season, I am updating the anchoring equipment for my pleasure boat, which is moored in a marina in the Mediterranean region. One of the key elements that needs to be replaced is the anchor chain. Due to the saltiness of the water and constant stress, the previous chain lost its strength and started to rust after the second season. Now I am looking for a chain with increased corrosion protection (e.g. hot-dip galvanizing or stainless steel), designed for an average boat weight and an anchor weighing up to 15 kg. I am also interested in whether you have calibrated chains that will fit exactly under the Quick Prince DP2 1000 anchor winch that I use. I would also like to clarify the possibility of delivery to Italy or Croatia, and whether your company provides advice on the correct selection of the chain depending on the tonnage of the vessel, parking conditions and water depth.

Preparing for a new sailing season is always a hassle, especially when it comes to safety and reliability of equipment. Personally, I recently updated my anchor chains and was looking for high-quality and proven options. I want to recommend https://gaelixmarineservice.com/anchoring-docking-mooring/chains/. They have an excellent selection of chains that can withstand heavy loads and ensure safety even in the most difficult conditions. If you want to be confident in your equipment, I advise you to pay attention to this resource.
