Converting NSF (Lotus Notes Database) to PST (Microsoft Outlook Data File) manually can be a complex process, but it is possible. However, please note that manual conversion may not always be successful, and there is a risk of data loss or corruption if not done correctly. It is highly recommended to create backups of your NSF file and PST file before attempting the manual conversion. Here's a general outline of the manual process:

Step 1: Export Lotus Notes Data to CSV:

Open IBM Lotus Notes and your NSF file.
Click on "File" > "Export" to open the Export wizard.
Choose "Tabular Text" or "Structured Text" format and select the data you want to export (e.g., emails, contacts, calendar, etc.).
Choose a location to save the exported file in CSV format.
Step 2: Import CSV Data to Outlook:

Open Microsoft Outlook.
Click on "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export" to open the Import and Export wizard.
Choose "Import from another program or file" and click "Next."
Select "Comma Separated Values" as the file type to import and locate the previously exported CSV file.
Choose a destination folder to import the data into (e.g., Inbox, Contacts, etc.).
Map the fields from the CSV file to the corresponding Outlook fields and complete the import process.
Step 3: Create a New PST File in Outlook:

In Microsoft Outlook, go to "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings."
Go to the "Data Files" tab and click "Add" to create a new Outlook Data File (PST).
Choose a location to save the new PST file and provide a name for it.
Set the new PST file as the default data file if needed.
Step 4: Move Data from Outlook to the New PST:

In Outlook, select the data you imported from the CSV file (e.g., emails, contacts) and drag them to the corresponding folders in the new PST file.
Please keep in mind that the manual conversion process might not transfer all data and may not preserve the folder structure and other attributes accurately. Additionally, attachments, encryption, and certain Lotus Notes-specific features may not be fully converted. For a more reliable and comprehensive NSF to PST conversion, consider using specialized third-party software tools designed for this purpose.

If you have a large and complex NSF database or require a precise conversion with full data integrity, it is recommended to use professional NSF to PST conversion software to ensure a successful and error-free migration.
