Hi Tim, Jacques, PMC:
Would you consider this news?: http://www.infoverto.com "Supply Chain Management & ERP Notes"? Lots of good press for OFBiz. I'd like to have it posted under the "News" section of the website. With a heading something like: "Now you can run your ERP without IT Staff" an interview featuring the OFBiz ERP competitive advantage. Regards, Ruth |
Nice Blog post. I think its similar to blog post by Mike Bates,

Hi Anil:
Don't know about Mike's blog. I didn't post it. It is not my blog. Puneesh Lamba approached me to do this. It is his site and his blog. This blog is 90% OFBiz. Only enough about me to give credibility to my answers. Regards, Ruth Anil Patel wrote: > Nice Blog post. I do think this is news Ruth. Please make a JIRA issue with a patch and I'll submit it. Please don't use the main page though - use this URL so that it goes to the post all the time - http://www.infoverto.com/2010/03/now-you-can-run-your-erp-without-it.html . Thanks for the pointer.

Hi Tim:
I hesitate to say this, but it's not clear to me how to make a patch for the OFBiz website. I'm not even sure which version to use to make a patch with or how I should classify the JIRA. I took a quick look and I can't find any examples of how to do this. Could you point me in the right direction? TIA Ruth Tim Ruppert wrote: > I do think this is news Ruth. Here's one way to do it - modify for your editor of choice.
1. svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/site 2. vi index.html 3. Make your changes 4. svn diff index.html > addingRunErp.patch 5. Go here - https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ 6. Create a new issue 7. Assign it to me I'll take it from there and format any inconsistencies if they exist. Hello Tim,
WDYT if we put a section mentioning how to checkout website code for everybody other then committers? Refer: http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBADMIN/OFBiz+Source+Repository+and+Access I think it would be good if we put this section below "OFBiz Website Repository and Access (for committers)" heading. -- Ashish On Mon, Mar 22, 2010 at 7:23 PM, Tim Ruppert <[hidden email]> wrote: > Here's one way to do it - modify for your editor of choice. > > 1. svn co http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ofbiz/site > 2. vi index.html > 3.
