Is it too late to update the Incubator's June report?

Jacopo Cappellato
I'd like to update the wiki page with the new mailing list migration:

http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/June2006

Is it too late?

Jacopo

I'd say go ahead, unless Yoav has anything to say.

Hi,
It's not too late, because the Board meeting for which this report is
due was moved a week back to the 28th.  So go ahead.

In general the most important file to keep updated is our status.html
(we have one, right?  No svn access for me at the moment).  In fact
what some projects do is just keep that one file updated, and then
whenever a report is due they just look at the revision history for
that file, write it up.

Yoav,

thanks, I've updated the Wiki page.
About status.html file: if you mean the project's status page, yes we
have it and it is always updated:

http://incubator.apache.org/projects/ofbiz.html

Re: Is it too late to update the Incubator's June report?

Yoav Shapira-2
Yup, that's what I meant.

It's not a bad habit to get into: update the status file regularly,
with anything you think is noteworthy.  ("You" being any committer,
not just PMC members).  Everyone should review the status file
regularly.  The matter of writing up Board reports, whether for the
incubator now or for the ASF Board after incubation, is then a simple
matter of collecting changes to the status file from the past board
report...

(It doesn't have to be done this way, I'm just outlining one option
that's worked for projects in the past, and that has the bonus of
keeping our users always informed of the project status).
