Is there an easy way to change the default value for the priority field in Jira?

Is there an easy way to change the default value for the priority field
(in the "create new issue" screen) in the Jira issue tracker from
"Major" to "Minor"?
I think it would be a better default value.

Good question... Even with admin permissions I'm not sure. Since we  
don't have admin permissions for the ofbiz jira project the way to do  
this would be to submit an infrastructure request (unless David  
Welton or someone does have access to this?). If it's not possible, I  
imagine they'll let us.
