Marco Risaliti commented on OFBIZ-281:
--------------------------------------

I think that now this issue can be closed and the survey is rendered according to the language used in the definition of a single survey.
Can someone close this issue ?

Thanks
Marco

> I'm attaching this to version 3.6.0 because it most likely won't make it into the 3.5.0 release.

> I'm not sure what the direction will be for the survey rendering. I'd really like to see them changed be based on the Screen Widget like I did with the order notice emails (and would like to do at some point with the other email notices, and there are quite a few...).
> To implement i18n of the survey rendering would obviously require some changes to the Java code used for rendering. I don't know off the top of my head if this is at all Locale aware or not. Changing the existing rendering code (based on the SurveyWrapper class) would probably be the easiest way to get started.
> One thing about this is that most of the labels and such come from the database, so some technique needs to be used to support multiple languages there. We could use the feature that allows an override of text values in the Entity Engine, or we could could extend the data model to allow for internationlized labels. The Entity Engine built in feature would probably be the easiest for now, and is already used in limited places, like for StatusItem entity descriptions as specified in the CommonEntityLabels_fr.properties file.
