David E. Jones commented on OFBIZ-607:
--------------------------------------
I agree that having a separate page is probably the best solution for this, largely for the reasons that Ray mentioned in his last comment on this issue, but also because of the more common flow where the packers are usually not wading through the pick screens.
If we also want links in the picklist screens that's fine. Both of these would probably be nice to have.
Still, are either of these really needed? Usually when it's time for a pack to be done the packer will find out about it because a pile of stuff that has been picked shows up in his queue (on a cart or whatever), and usually with the pile will be a paper that has a help ID on it that they can simply enter and get going with the packing screens.

> Currently, in facility manager, under Warehouse > [Packing], you are prompted for an order Id and shipment group seq Id. It would be nice to have a list of orders from this warehouse which are ready for packing, so you can just pick them off the list and pack them, rather than going through the order manager.
> Alternatively, the order manager could have a screen which shows a list of shipments which are ready for packing.
