Jira Statuses.

BJ Freeman
is there a place that explain these?
I did not find them at the confluence site.
It would seem that if we set the status of the ones that have patches to
Patch Available. then the committers can review the patches.
once reviewed it can be set to Patch Reviewed. which indicates it is
ready to be committed.

so as a non committer, I would upload a patch then set the status to
Patch Available.

I notice Cocoon uses a custom field for this. Select their project in the
filter and you will see it at the bottom.

Re: Jira Statuses.

In the new Jira version 3.0 they have a workflow plugin.
is there a way of incorporating this.
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAEXT/JIRA+Workflow+Extensions

not sure the advantage of a separate field to the status window we have now.
