Hi,
I'd like to suggest something. OOTB we show all possible languages, could we not limit the list to the languages really used in OFBiz? Ie those with at least one label If you agree I will do it Jacques |

No.
The Java library is set up so that you can select your language and it will try to find the closest match. -Adrian --- On Wed, 2/10/10, Jacques Le Roux <[hidden email]> wrote: > From: Jacques Le Roux <[hidden email]> > Subject: Languages really used in OFBiz > To: [hidden email] > Cc: [hidden email] > Date: Wednesday, February 10, 2010, 11:25 PM > Hi, > > I'd like to suggest something. I agree with Jaques to limit the list. For 98% of the languages listed there
is no thing as "closest match". And a user should then be able to choose from the languages that are actually available. This was discussed years ago. Out of the box Ofbiz will display all available languages. If you want your local copy to have a subset of those languages, then you can modify the locales.available property in general.properties.

Yes, but the result is not so good... We could set the property OOTB and regularly update it when a new language is added. I noticed
that this is not moving much these last times... Jacques From: "Dimitri Unruh" <[hidden email]> Adrian, I agree with you. The way with the property makes more sense...
