Library upgrades before next release branch

Adam Heath-2
Can we all try to start upgrading any of our embedded libraries to the
latest official releases(or some svn snapshot), before the next
release branch is created?

If a library we use requires a version that hasn't been officially
released, at the very least, it must exist upstream as some revision
control version.  Any local changes applied to a library should not be
allowed.

From my POV, I just have to push a new Tomcat version
(https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-3424). It has not been
tested.... Maybe I can try to make it go to the latest (6.0.26).

When do you want me to start ?

cheers,

Anytime you want.  This was more a call for all of us to look at all
the libraries to see which ones any of us could look after.
