It seems that there are some issues with bottom applications. For instance, in Example you can't access to Example Application menu options. WebTools works well though...
Maybe a slight bug, because if you copy the "Example Application" text  from the browser (that you can't click on) you get this

    b.. Feature
    c.. Form Widget Examples
    d.. Ajax Examples
    e.. Example Portal Page
    f.. Logout
    g.. Dashboard
