I don't know when but we have lost the 2 menu bars in catalog, even in R9.04...
Bad regression, hopefully very simple one though Thanks Jacques |

To reproduce, try "Product Jump" option "Content" using WG-5569 as product, with Bizness Time theme. The behaviour exists also with
flat grey theme. Jacques From: "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> >I don't know when but we have lost the 2 menu bars in catalog, even in R9.04... > > Bad regression, hopefully very simple one though > > Thanks > > Jacques > |
I took a quick look at this and I may not be being sufficiently thorough, but I can't see anything missing. Could you be more specific... like what do you mean by the "2 menu bars"? -David On Jun 8, 2009, at 11:10 AM, Jacques Le Roux wrote: > To reproduce, try "Product Jump" option "Content" using WG-5569 as > product, with Bizness Time theme. I have created https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-2578 to better explain

Hi Jacques
In the screenshot you sent there is no product selected, I typed in the product id you suggested and jumped to content and the Product specific menu appeared as well as the title and quick link menu. Hi Scott,
Believe me, I'm not already mad :D. Maybe it comes from Environment. I will try on Ubuntu... BTW, I wonder how it'd be possible to get this screenshoot otherwise ;o) Jacques PS : I just tried again on XP/FF3 and here is what I got: When I loaded the demo server R9.04 the header was collapsed (maybe it's a clue) Then I tried with a product (any do it) and jumped to prices : I reproduced the issue Then I jumped to content: same issue I then expanded the header and jumped again to prices and the menus where there ! I collapsed and tried again but was not able to reproduce, the menus stay... weird. I continue to test with my local instance, faster... I got it : it's because I put a space after the productId (without noticing it)
Scott's remark (no product selected) made me found it. I think we should better remove spaces around productId, send an error message if no productId is found and not move to any page. For now there is only the message "Could not find product with ID [WG-5569 ]" after the field "Product ID" in the "Edit Product" page. I reopened https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OFBIZ-2578 Thanks Jacques From: "Jacques Le Roux" <[hidden email]> > Hi Scott, > > Believe me, I'm not already mad :D.
