To convert Lotus Notes NSF files to Outlook PST manually, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Install Lotus Notes Client
Ensure that the Lotus Notes Client software is installed on your system. This is necessary to access the NSF files.
Step 2: Create a New Local Replica
Open Lotus Notes and create a new local replica of the NSF file you want to convert. This will create a local copy of the NSF file on your system.
Step 3: Export NSF to CSV
In Lotus Notes, go to "File" > "Export." Choose a location to save the exported file and select "Structured Text" or "Comma Separated Value" as the file type. Follow the on-screen instructions to export the NSF data to a CSV file.
Step 4: Import CSV to Outlook
Open Microsoft Outlook on your system. Create a new Outlook data file or choose an existing one where you want to import the NSF data. Go to "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export" to open the Import and Export Wizard.
Select "Import from another program or file" and click "Next." Choose "Comma Separated Values" as the file type and locate the CSV file you exported from Lotus Notes. Follow the wizard to complete the import process, ensuring that you map the fields correctly during the import.
Step 5: Save as Outlook PST
After importing the data from the CSV file, you can organize it within Outlook. Create folders and move the imported data to the appropriate locations. Once the data is organized, you can save the Outlook data file as a PST file by going to "File" > "Open & Export" > "Import/Export."
Choose "Export to a file" and click "Next." Select "Outlook Data File (.pst)" as the file type and select the folder(s) you want to include in the PST file. Choose a location to save the PST file, provide a name, and click "Finish."
