Subject: Four days installation issue - Sample output from terminal
One of the users who mentioned he had a four days install is right.
I ran the installation process in the virtual machine and this is the
second days output, which keeps popping up very slowly row by row:

Hi Rebecca,

These are not errors. They are also not progress messages that you need to
wait on.

They are just messages logged while OFBiz's background processes are
working. By default, log messages are sent to standard output as well as to
the OFBiz log files. You can reconfigure that if you like.

If you are seeing these messages, OFBiz is actually running. If you start a
web browser on the same computer, the URL

https://localhost:8443/ordermgr/control/main

should work and take you to the order manager component in OFBiz.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Paul Foxworthy

marcopaul
Sounds like the virtual machine is running phenomenally slowly. Make sure it has at least 1-2gb of ram and that you have something with decent I/O. If you are using a low cost vm provider, these vms are usually very I/o limited.
