Subject: Looking for full documentation offline

Dear Sir,

I am new to Apache OfBiz. I want to learn and use it for my organisation,
where we are not allowed to use internet on our systems. Is it possible to
get full documentation offline?

Thanks and regards,

Sunil

Hi Sunil ,

Good to know that and welcome to the OfBiz community .

I am also implementing Ofbiz in my organisation and I am happy about the
choice.
I have progressed to a satisfactory level.

Initial learning curve is bit steep but documentations are coming up and it
seems to be a priority area of the project.

Not being allowed to use net is definitely a big handicap as you have
to search online various sources including mail archives. Please find
a way to get over this.

Re: [MODERATE EMAIL] Looking for full documentation offline

Swapnil Mane
Welcome to the Apache OFBiz community Sunil! :-)

We use confluence for the documentations of Apache OFBiz.
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/Home

To export (PDF, HTML or XML) this space for offline use, please follow the
steps below

1.) Log In to the confluence (
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/Home)
Please sign up if you don't have the account.

2.) After login, go to
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/Home

3.) Select the *'Space Operation'* option under the *'Browse'* menu
(available on header section)

4.) On Right-hand panel, you can find the option of Export (PDF, HTML, and
XML export options are available)

P.S. It will be really good if you have the access to the Internet. As
Rajesh mentioned, there are lots of online resources and help available
which can help you.

- Best Regards,

Hi Sunil,

Yes it will be very difficult, if not impossible, to use OFBiz without access at the documentation online :/

Hope you can find a workaround

Jacques
