Nabble 2

Hi All,

Since sometimes now Nabble is offering to migrate to their Nabble 2 forum. I did not mind until I read this this morning "Nabble1
(the current Nabble) will continue as it is for some time." So it seems that one day or another we will have to migrate to Nabble 2.
So I propose to do it now before our time will be counted to do it.
I'd also update the convenient Firefox searchplugins

What do you think ?

Hello Jacques,

I have few questions before moving to Nabble 2.

1) Do you think that Nabble2 will provide us old threads ?

2) Is it ok if we wait for some more time (may be 1 or 2 months) and see how many software discussion group are moving to this new version ?

3) Do you want to move the OFBiz Discussion Forum as the "Root Project" or Do you want to move it under Software "Root Project" as the previous
presence of OFBiz on nabble forum (http://n2.nabble.com/Software-f780142.html) ?
FYI the Discussion group under "Software (Root Node)" is very less.

Please let me know your thoughts on this whenever you get a chance.

Yes migration is ensured http://n2.nabble.com/nabble2.html "you can request us to migrate it to Nabble2. "

Seems that much are moving http://n2.nabble.com/freeforums.html.

on 1st page (quickly changing) to only cite a few...

I did not think about that, yes you are right. I think I will move it as a "Root Project" as it's done for maven here
http://n2.nabble.com/maven-users-f828.html and most important Projects (git, fedora, etc.)

I will do it soon. There is only one thing to note for those who post directly on nabble forum and not through MLs.
You will need to register again on Nabble2 to post on those new forums. Being registered on Nabble is not sufficient.
