Hi Everyone
We are looking for some technical based presentations for the OFBiz track at Apachecon US in April 2015. If you have an interesting topic that you would like to share with the community or other developers then please feel free to submit a talk. Note that for submission you only need to provide an outline summary (a short paragraph) of what you want to cover in your presentation (so this means that you don’t have to complete the whole presentation now!). In fact you only need to complete the whole presentation if you submission is accepted. If you want to get an idea of what an outline summary for submission should look like then please see the abstract summaries from Apachecon EU https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/OFBiz+track+@+Apachecon+EU+2014+in+Budapest%2C+Hungary+Nov+17th+-+Nov+19th+2014 Decisions on which presentations are selected for Apachecon US will be made on 14th February so if selected you will still have around 6 weeks to get your presentation ready. Thanks Sharan |
Hi,
I don't see any reply on this thread. There is no proposal talk at this time ? No people interested ? Or just a thinking in progress ;) ? If the Apachecon US will have a big OFBiz session, we will reflect on the possibility to cross the Atlantic. Hi Nicolas:
If any or all of my presentations are accepted, then I will be at ApacheCon. At the risk of sounding like a jerk: For anyone reading this email who does not know me - I'll just say - I'm always excited to meet anyone involved with OFBiz. An open invitation, ApacheCon or not. BTW, if anyone has a topic that they would like me to present at the conference, and it isn't already on the list: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/OFBIZ/OFBiz+track+@+Apachecon+US+2015+in+Texas,+Austin+-++April+13-17,+2015 Please feel free to contact me via my website: http://www.aesolves.com/control/contact or directly at [hidden email]. I already mentioned to Sharan that I am willing to refactor my week-long, on-site developer training class, (more info here: http://www.aesolves.com/store/products/p_TR-0734-CL) into something that would work at the conference. Seems like the current thinking is that there isn't enough interest. But I'm still willing and able to do this.
