Need help: SPANISH GENERAL ACCOUNTING PLAN (SPC)

wp.rauchholz
I like to accomplish the following:
1 - setup spanish accounting plan in Ofbiz
2 - make it in form of xml files available to community

Problem: I am not a finance person.

Ask: a volunteer I can meet with on e.g. Skype to complete the task

Current status: I do have EXCEL version of  accounting plan in Spanish and English and started to map tthat to ofbiz, but due to lack finance skills, I cannot complete.

Thanks for getting in touch with me.

Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,

Great initiative! I recently started to undertake the same for the Dutch
Gl Ledger schema (the so-called 'Grootboekschema'). The reference schema
has over 3700 rows in a spreadsheet, and is applicable to every industry
sector and for one-man operations to multinationals. It is also complete
regarding XBRL reporting.

As you can imagine, converting the spreadsheet rows to <GlAccount ../>
records is not a big deal (I had that done in under an hour), but mapping
each row to the correct GlAccountType, GlAccountClass and GlResource
reference is quite another story. Not to mention all the other associations
(invoice type, payment type, etc).

Keep up the good work.

Best regards,

Pierre Smits

Another resource that might be helpful :

https://www.ifrs-gaap.com/examples-and-charts

provides free example charts of accounts for both GAAP and IFRS accounting
standards.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for sharing that link. Based on information provided thereon I have
created a Chart of Accounts for the IFRS example.

It can be found here: https://github.com/ORRTIZ/ofbiz-CoA-IFRS-example
