Sorry it took so long for me to respond on this one...
You're correct, the original design did not take into account the
language of the keyword. In other words, it was language agnostic.
If I understand your problem correctly is it that when searching for a
specific string of characters that happens to match words in multiple
languages then even if the user does not speak english, or is not
searching in english, the products with the english keywords still
show up first because there are more of them.
Is that correct, or is it another scenario that you're running into?
