Hi,
I think this has been already discussed but I did not find the conclusion we have got to (if any). I cannot find a way in OFBiz to let a standard backoffice user to change is own password when he wants to. Is it anywhere? Many thanks, Bruno |
I had the impression that would be done in the Mypage profile page
shortly being a portal page.... Hans,
generally speaking, in my opinion, MyPage, MyPortal, Dashboard etc. should be considered something to let the user have access to information in a handy and nice way. Implementing a service that allows a userLogin to change its own password should be a very basic feature that IMO should be implemented in the framework itself. -Bruno 2008/11/30 Hans Bakker <[hidden email]> > I had the impression that would be done in the Mypage profile page > shortly being a portal page.... > > On Sun, 2008-11-30 at 09:23 +0100, Bruno Busco wrote: > > Hi, > > I think this has been already discussed but I did not find the conclusion > we > > have got to (if any). > > > > I cannot find a way in OFBiz to let a standard backoffice user to change > is > > own password when he wants to. > > Is it anywhere? > > > > Many thanks, > > Bruno > -- > Antwebsystems.com: Quality OFBiz services for competitive prices > > |
Password for a userLogin can be changed in Party Manager and ecommerce.

As far as I can see there is no way for a standard user (no admin) to change
his OWN password. Am I wrong? 2008/11/30 Vince M. I just logged in as a user that only had the ORDERENTRY security group assigned. I was still able to go into party manager and access the fields for changing my pw.
